If you could get one CD as a Christmas present then what would it be? Let's say it cant' exceed $17.

Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime II.

I loved the first one. I'd love to hear this one...

I don't think you should listen to Mincrime II if you know part I, you will want to do nasty things to Queensryche afterwards, like shove money down their throat literally, not only figuratively.

I am not sure what I want, there isn't much interetsing coming out in December. Next year will have lots of good releases. So I suppose it's time to catch up on some classics, maybe 17$/€ can buy me two Deep purple or Thin Lizzy albums!

I'd get Mastodon's Blood Mountain or pick up one of the Sabbath 80s albums I never got to.

Janet-I would echo what Joerg says about OM2. There are a few decent tracks, but it's overall very weak.

Ben- I think that I may have liked it better than most people. I think it's easily their best album since South of heaven, but it breaks no new ground.

Joerg-I have picked up a number of Deep Purple cd's just over the last year. Maybe this year it should be Thin Lizzy because I own very little by them.

David-Blood Mountain has grown on me, but it's not quite the leap I was expecting them to make.

I would like to buy a cd by either Sasquatch or Josiah. Both bands I have yet to hear and would like to. Both are supposed to be 70's sounding stuff.

I'd have to go old school and get "Too Fast For Love"...I have it on cassette, but nothing to listen to it with!

Or maybe "Among the Living" by Anthrax. Had it...someone stole it! By far my favorite Anthrax recording.

Alice in Chains- Dirt; one of the dogs I've had ate it, literally, along with about 10 other cds, but that's the one I'd want.

Steve-The new Trixie is probably my favorite of theirs. Still has a strong Def Leppard sound, but this one has some traces of Faster Pussycat mixed in.

Sgt. Fluffy-Feel the fire is a great one.

Nonny-I like their first album, but not a whole lot after that.

Mark, I can't believe we agree that a band (Suicidal Tendencies) was better playing punk than when they got all metalled up!

I think you can get Dirt on CD at half.com for like $1 plus shipping.

Metallica. Master of Puppets on vinyl. Had it years ago in junior high and still miss it. I know it's available on the web but I am holding out for that Garage sale jackpot!
